Step One

If you don't have it already, install the OneDrive for Windows app from Microsoft.

If you're using Windows 10, your computer likely already has the OneDrive app installed - skip to step 2.

Step Two

If it didn't open automatically, open the Start Menu and search for OneDrive. Open the app from there.

Step Three

Once the app opens, enter your school account email and password.

After logging in, OneDrive will tell you where the folder will be placed on your computer.

If you wish to change where it is located, this is the best time to do that.

Step Five

On the 'All your files, ready and on-demand' screen, you'll see how files are marked to show them as online-only, locally available, or always available.

Step Six

You're all set. Your OneDrive files will appear in File Explorer in the OneDrive folder as OneDrive - Lynden School District. You now have a new white or blue cloud icon in your notification area, and your files have synced to your computer.

Step One

Open the Start Menu and search for OneDrive. Open the first app.

Once the app opens, enter your school account email and click Sign In.

After logging in, OneDrive will tell you where the folder will be placed on your computer. Click Next.

Do not change this folder location.

Step Four

On the 'Back up your folders' screen, you'll see which folders are backed up. Select all of the folders, and click Continue.

Step Five

You're all set. Your OneDrive files will appear in File Explorer in the OneDrive folder as OneDrive - Lynden School District. You now have a new white or blue cloud icon in your notification area, and your files have synced to your computer.

You will be walked through how to use OneDrive before the app closes. Choose Later when prompted to 'Get the mobile app.'

Accessing OneDrive On The Web (Or By App)

Step One

Open your primary choice of Internet Browser.


This tutorial is displayed on Safari, but it will work on all modern browsers.

Step Two

Open this link or search for 'OneDrive' on your selected search engine (Google, Bing, Ecosia, etc). Click sign in on the OneDrive website.

Sign in with your school account email and password.

You're all set, and ready to go! Browse your files on demand whenever you need them.
